It’s the bricks‑and‑mortar home of the Happy Camper brand, a place shaped by the passion and creativity of Sonia and Remi, the duo who first captured Melbourne’s heart with their vintage Happy Camper Pizza trucks.
Their journey began on the road, serving woodfired pizzas at weddings, festivals and events across Victoria. The trucks became iconic, the food became beloved, and the community around them kept growing. Building on that momentum, Sonia and Remi created Campground Kitchen: a welcoming, rustic space where great food, great people and great vibes come together under one roof.
The drinks list is just as thoughtful as the food, and this season, the team is pouring something we’re thrilled about — Tres Cítricos Vodka. It’s being mixed into fresh, bright cocktails that suit the venue’s relaxed, fire‑side energy. Whether it’s shaken, stirred or splashed into a summery signature, it fits seamlessly into their bar program.
The menu stays true to their woodfired roots. Expect classic Happy Camper pizzas, slow‑cooked dishes kissed by the flames, hearty share plates, fresh salads and warm desserts that feel like home. It’s comfort food with craft, simple, generous and made to be shared.
Next door, the dream is expanding again. Happy Camper HQ is currently being built: a dedicated event and community space designed for weddings, private functions, workshops and their upcoming dinner experiences. It will sit alongside Campground Kitchen as the larger home for their events, creativity and community programs.
